Announcement to Lebanese expatriates who registered to vote abroad
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants would like to draw the attention of the Lebanese expatriates who registered to vote abroad in the upcoming Lebanese parliamentary elections, and whose applications met the legal requirements, but their names were not listed in the electoral lists published on the official website of the Directorate General for Civil Status www.DGCS.gov.lb, or there are errors in their registry, that they can file an objection to add their names or correct the error, in the Lebanese embassies and consulates before Tuesday, February 20, 2018 deadline.
The persons concerned must fill in the objection form, available on www.DGCS.gov.lb and in all the civil registry offices in Lebanon, and attach the necessary documents that prove the validity of the objection, and submit it to the relevant Lebanese mission within the aforementioned deadline. Persons concerned can also communicate with the Lebanese missions for further assistance and clarification.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants would like to clarify that the persons concerned are exclusively those who had registered in the countries in which polling stations are to be opened in accordance with the Decree No. 2219 of 22 January 2018.
